Squalio, one of leading resellers of software solutions and IT services, is actively searching for an open-minded, dynamic, and solution-oriented Corporate & Commercial Law Lawyer to join our team.
As a member of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in the company’s business operations. You’ll support our sales and delivery teams in bringing their business ideas to life, serve as a guardian of vendor interests, and engage in a variety of exciting projects. We view our lawyers as solution providers, so your eagerness to learn about the industry, our products, and services will be key to your success and that of the company.
Join us for an exciting opportunity to provide legal support not just locally, but also to our international branches across regions such as the Baltic States (Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia), Central and Eastern Europe, and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Review cooperation agreements and provide support to the sales department.
- Develop contracts necessary to ensure the company's commercial activities and related documents.
- Review state and local government procurement contracts and address any associated issues.
- Arrange corporate governance related matters and documentation
- Prepare legal opinions based on thorough analysis and research.
- Conduct correspondence and maintain effective communication with clients and partners.
- Conduct employee training on current legal and compliance issues when required.
Requirements
- Holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Law or currently enrolled in such programs.
- Proven experience as a Lawyer.
- Excellent communication skills with a precise and detail-oriented personality.
- Ability to adapt to dynamics of daily tasks, independently organize work, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in commercial law, contract law, and working with state and local government procurement is considered an advantage.
- Excellent Lithuanian and English language skills. Other languages could be deemed an advantage.
